How ‘Shoppy Note’ works

There are four options available in ‘Shoppy Note’ to prepare shopping list 

1. Add Items Manually

Add Items Manually

Shoppy Note lets you add individual items directly to your shopping list whenever you need them. This is useful when you only need to add one or a few items quickly. You can enter the item name and optionally include a quantity or weight. Manually added items are labelled Other, making it easy to identify them in your shopping list.

How to Add: Tap the + button on the Shopping List page, enter the item name and optional quantity or weight, and tap Add. The item is immediately added to your shopping list. You can continue adding more items and close the pop-up when you are finished.

Create a Bulk List

Create multiple shopping-list items at once instead of entering them individually. This is especially useful when you already have a shopping list prepared in Notes, Messages, WhatsApp, or another app. Simply copy your existing list and paste it into Shoppy Note to transfer many items in just a few seconds. This saves time and makes creating a large shopping list much more convenient.

How to Add: Go to Create List and type or paste your shopping list. Separate items using line breaks or commas, and optionally include quantities or weights. Tap Create List to add the valid items to your shopping list. Duplicate items are automatically ignored. You can also tap How to Add to view the supported format and examples.

Quick Add Items

Quick Add provides more than 400 built-in shopping items organized into categories, giving you a fast way to create a shopping list without manually typing every item. It can also help you remember commonly purchased items while preparing your list. The built-in categories include Fruits, Vegetables, Grocery, Dairy & Eggs, Meat, and Household, covering a wide range of everyday shopping needs.

How to Add: Go to the Quick Add page, select a category, and tap any item you want to add. The selected item is immediately added to your shopping list, allowing you to build your list quickly with simple taps.

Find Items with Filters

Quick Add includes useful filters that can help you narrow down the available items based on different characteristics and household uses. Depending on the category, available filters can include Low-Calorie, Nutrient-Dense, Antioxidant, Fiber-Rich, Healthy Fats, and Protein-Rich. Household items can also be filtered using categories such as Home Care, Personal Care, and Cleaning, making it easier to find relevant items.

Favourites

Favourites lets you save items that you purchase regularly so they are always ready for your future shopping lists. You can create your own Favourite items and optionally save a quantity or weight with them. This avoids repeatedly entering the same items and makes adding frequently purchased products much faster. Favourite items are labelled Fav in the shopping list for easy identification.

How to Add: Go to the Quick Add page and open Favourites. Tap the + button, enter the item name and optional quantity or weight, and tap Add. When you need the item again, simply tap the Favourite to add it to your shopping list.

Organize Your Shopping List

Shoppy Note makes it easy to understand and manage items from different sources. Items can be identified using simple category labels such as Fruit, Veg, Grocery, Meat, D&E, HH, Fav, and Other. These labels help you quickly recognize where an item came from while viewing and managing your shopping list.

Sort Your Shopping List

When your shopping list contains many items, sorting makes it easier to organize and manage them. Shoppy Note provides a simple sorting option that helps arrange your items into a more convenient order while you prepare or use your shopping list.

Check Items as You Shop

As you shop, you can mark items as completed using the checkmark button. Shoppy Note keeps track of your progress and displays the total number of items and completed items, making it easy to see what you have already purchased and what is still remaining.

Edit and Delete Items

Shopping lists can change while you are preparing or doing your shopping. Shoppy Note makes it simple to update an existing item when its name, quantity, or weight changes. You can also delete items that are no longer required. Swipe an item to access the available edit and delete actions.

Share Your Shopping List

Shoppy Note allows you to share your shopping list with others directly from the Shopping List page. This can be useful when you want to send your list to a family member, friend, or anyone else who may be helping with the shopping.

Dark Mode

Shoppy Note supports Dark Mode for a comfortable experience in darker environments and for users who prefer a dark interface. The shopping list remains clear and easy to use while following the appearance settings of your device.
